Documenting the faces and frippery
of the coffee crowd.
Wow. I bought a sketch program for my ipad but quickly became discouraged. And I've seen people do amazing things with their iphone, too. Great job here.
Marty, please tutor me on color sometime. You've got it working and I don't.
@ Felt: thanks mucho for the kind words! I dug your blog, too! It's funny to have iPad skills attributed to myself...whatever's good in there comes from having mucked about with painting. @MikeD (you rascal): Nice to hear kind words directed at my color, but as often as not I feel like I'm caught in very unexciting palette choices...What you two probably like about this is I've done it on 2-3 layers, which lets my color come thru. I like alotta transparency in my brushes, and I try to work off of the lower colors. Then I just push stuff around until it looks more interesting than fleshtone.p.s. Nobody's gonna read this, huh? Yesterday's comments are like last night's drinks...just a faint glow in your memory. However, I do very very much appreciate them (the comments!). Thank yous!
You're right about forgotten comments, but in this case I'm glad I stumbled back this way to catch your advice. I'm gonna fool around with Sketchbook Pro in my spare moments to see if I can come up with something cool.
